Community members are having good luck with Verizon and Ziply Fiber as service providers. Tree density may still affect your success but there are more tools available all the time to help with coverage.
Our community member, Sue Pearson spearheaded setting up a private Lake Kayak group on Nextdoor.com. It is a social network setup for communities like ours. If you live or own property at Lake Kayak in the Mountain View Park Community it's a great way to connect with your neighbors--ones you already know and ones you haven't met yet!
You can sign up and use this neighborhood group for communicating about a variety of things -- items for sale, local news and tidbits, emergencies, yard sales, babysitters and lost pets.
