MVPCC Records

The non profit corporation (MVPCC) was created in the late 1960's with Articles of Incorporation, Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CCRs) and By-Laws. 

The annual meeting is held on the 2nd Saturday of June at 2 PM in the Community Park.  Community business is conducted including review of past year meeting minutes, financial updates,  budget review and ratification. 

Lake Kayak was created in the 1960s by building an earthen dam, the lake is fed by two creeks and several natural springs.  In Washington State, the Department of Ecology (DOE) oversees all dams and the Dam Safety Office requires MVPCC to have a dam safety inspection every 5 years.   The community pays an inspection fee to the DOE that is calculated based on the potential downstream impact and hazard classification of the dam.
